Owners Manual Description

2022 Volkswagen Arteon Owners Manual

The Arteon received a redesign just last year, but for 2022 it will receive a significant engine improvement. It utilizes the 2.0-liter turbo-4 from the Golf R and upgrades its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission to boost the Arteon’s performance. In addition, Moonstone gray, a new flat gray paint choice, has been added to the design.

2022 Volkswagen Arteon models

The 2022 Volkswagen Arteon is offered in SE R-Line, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line trim levels and can accommodate a family of four. Each is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission. All-wheel drive is standard on the SEL R-Line and SEL Premium R-Line but not on the SE R-Line.

2022 Volkswagen Arteon Safety

The IIHS gave the Arteon its Top Safety Pick designation for its performance in crash tests, but the NHTSA has not yet evaluated it. The award, a lengthy list of standard and optional safety features, and a five-star NHTSA rating all contribute to the Arteon’s safety score of 8, with the NHTSA rating adding one additional point.

If a collision is imminent with a pedestrian, the clamshell hood will rise to lessen the danger of head injuries. Standard features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian recognition and blind-spot monitors. Also available are adaptive cruise control, active lane control, automatic high lights, and a surround-view camera.

2022 Volkswagen Arteon Features

In recent years, Volkswagen’s cheap vehicles have suffered from a diminished feature package, but this is not the case with the Arteon. Standard on the SE is a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster that appears to have been ripped directly from an Audi, featuring multiple adjustable views and the option to display the map in a big size.

Standard is an 8.0-inch touchscreen, which feels a bit small today, but it compensates with standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The front seats are standard with heating, 12-way power adjustability, and synthetic leather upholstery.

The Arteon’s standard features and advanced technology, along with its 4-year/50,000-mile warranty and 2-year/20,000-mile regular maintenance, earn it a score of 8 for standard features.
