2022 Volkswagen Golf/Golf GTI Owners Manual
The 2022 Golf GTI is a four-door hatchback with three trim levels: S, SE, and Autobahn. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine (241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque) drives the front wheels with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Forward Collision Warning
Ahead-collision warnings are given to the driver in the event of an impending frontal collision, even with a pedestrian. It can execute emergency braking if necessary.
High-Beam Controls
Depending on the direction of incoming traffic, the GTI’s high-beam headlights are automatically turned on or off.
Lane Keeping Assist
A flashing light is used to alert the driver of cars in their blind areas. You can use the steering wheel to help the vehicle go back on track.
2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI Interior, Cargo, and Comfort
Some historic cues mixed in with a more contemporary look on the inside of the new Golf GTI. There are two giant screens on the dashboard: a 10.3-inch gauge cluster and a 10.0-inch touchscreen with a piano-black surround. For the GTI, the three-spoke steering wheel has a more sculpted rim and touch-sensitive controls. Retro-style plaid inserts on the top and bottom cushions of its bolstered front seats are accented with red stitching around their outside edges.
Compared to the previous generation’s premium interiors, this new one is tarnished by specific tacky touches. You can better see the road ahead with a lower cowl, but we prefer analog instruments to a complex digital system. The new GTI adds 0.6 inches to its wheelbase and an inch to its overall height, giving it even more outstanding passenger and load room.
